John “Jack” E. Kelly

John E. Kelly, 92, of Bayville, NJ, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on February 11, 2019. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived there for 60 years before moving to Bayville. Jack proudly served his country in the U.S Navy. He worked as an Insurance Adjuster for Insurance Company of North America which later became Cigna Insurance Company.
He was a long time member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Brooklyn. He loved sailing and boating and named his boat after his beloved wife, "Betsy". Jack loved to take candid pictures and ride his bike but mostly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his three daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Bill Huergo, Mary Beth Hennessy, Maureen and Frank Conboy; son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Suzanne Kelly; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by wife, Elizabeth "Betsy" Kelly in 2012, and son-in-law, Bob Hennessy in 2011.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 9:15 am at the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Chapel, 26 Leonardville Rd., New Monmouth.
